Numerical Analysis of Slotted Wings Using Fluid-Structure Interaction

For shorter landing and take-off path in airports, the aircrafts should reduce their speed with keeping high lifting force. This paper is to identify solutions increase lift force of wing significantly under several flight scenarios (such as takeoff landing) using leading-edge slats relationship dynamic parameters aerodynamic wing. The study performed by use ABAQUS 2016 software. problem solved for turbulent flow 2-dimensional composite at constant Reynolds’s number (6.49 × 105) boundary conditions. Various depths have been used auxiliary airfoil width gap. All stresses base were obtained. pressure distribution on surface was determined, air velocity tracked over surface, drag forces coefficients computed. results show that highest value coefficient 0.489 depth (-3 %) chord, it decreases when slat becomes zero %, rise returns increasing (4 %), but does not reach maximum value, while (1.89) chord. Von Mises stress found 4 % 1.605 105 Pa.
